Raila Odinga's Christmas Surprise ¶
As Kenyans celebrated Christmas, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga decided to do things differently. Instead of the usual chapati, he prepared a delicious breakfast for his family.
According to a video shared by his daughter Winnie Odinga, Raila was seen busy in the kitchen, cooking up a storm. The video has left many Kenyans in awe, with some praising Raila for his culinary skills and others wondering why he didn't make chapati.
"Nampenda sana baba. Unawafunza wanaume huku nje kuwajali na kuwashughulikia familia zao. Nakutakia Krismasi njema na mwaka mpya wenye fanaka," Penina Nyambega said in a tweet.
However, not everyone was pleased with Raila's decision. Some Kenyans took to social media to ask why he didn't make chapati, a staple food in many Kenyan households on Christmas Day.
"Krismasi njema kwako Mzee Tinga. Lakini sioni unga wa chapo. Kwa kuwa ni lazima tuwakumbuke wenzetu msimu huu nakuletea unga pakiti tano kutoka kwangu," Edward Kinyua said in a tweet.
Despite the mixed reactions, Raila's family was thrilled with his efforts. "I love you, Baba. You're teaching men out there to take care of their families. Merry Christmas and a happy new year," Penina Nyambega said.
Raila's decision to prepare breakfast for his family has sparked a debate on social media, with some praising his creativity and others wondering why he didn't stick to tradition.
