December 25, 2019 - Mario Mandzukic, the 33-year-old Croatian striker, has signed with Al Duhail in Qatar's top flight, the club announced.

After terminating his deal with Juventus, which was set to expire in June 2021, Mandzukic will continue his career in the Qatari league.

During his time at Juventus, Mandzukic scored 44 goals in 162 games across all competitions, joining the Italian club from Atletico Madrid in 2014.

However, he has not featured in the current campaign under manager Maurizio Sarri.

Mandzukic has previously played for Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg in Germany, as well as other clubs.

He helped Croatia reach the World Cup final in Russia last year and scored in their 4-2 defeat by France in the title clash.

Al Duhail, led by coach Rui Faria, are currently top of the Qatari league with 29 points after an 11-game unbeaten streak.
