On December 25, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Lain Saba, Kibra slums, Nairobi, where a middle-aged woman lost her life in a shocking electrocution incident.
The woman, who was in high spirits and looking forward to Christmas celebrations, met her untimely demise while taking a shower in a general service bathroom at Amref area.
According to eyewitnesses, she was in a jolly mood and was excited about the upcoming festivities.
Confirming the incident, Kibra AP boss Andrew Musaisi stated that Kenya Power officials have been informed to disconnect the power line to enable the retrieval of the body from the scene.
