On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta attended a special mass at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Nyali, Mombasa County.

Accompanied by members of his family, the President wished Kenyans a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in a heartfelt address to the congregation.

After the mass, the President and First Lady took a rare moment to mingle with the faithful, posing for selfies with the enthusiastic crowd.

President Kenyatta expressed his gratitude to the church for its significant role in promoting national unity and fighting corruption.

He called on all Kenyans to live together in peace and harmony, emphasizing the importance of unity in building a prosperous nation.
