President Uhuru Kenyatta Spends Christmas Eve in Mombasa

On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta spent their evening in Mombasa, where they attended a church service at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Nyali.

According to a tweet from State House, the President and First Lady were accompanied by other members of the first family during the mass.

Following the service, President Kenyatta took to social media to wish Kenyans a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year.

State House tweeted: “President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta last evening attended Christmas eve mass at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Nyali, Mombasa County. The President, who was accompanied by the First Family, wished Kenyans a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year,”
