Christmas is just around the corner, and gospel artiste Rufftone is gearing up for a special performance alongside his wife Krystal. This comes weeks after she announced her comeback to the music world.
According to Rufftone, his wife put her music career on hold due to family engagements, but he believes that just because a woman has a family, it doesn't mean her career should be put aside.
‘My wife had stopped singing because of family engagements. We were newlywed and children and spending time with each other took a chunk of our career,’ Rufftone said in a recent interview.
However, it seems that Krystal is now ready to revive her music career, and Rufftone is more than happy to support her. He will be singing alongside her at various shows, including one in Kakamega on December 31st.
‘We will be spending time with our mum, and I also have shows in Kakamega. I will also be performing in Kakamega on 31st alongside my wife Krystal and artists such as Solomon Mkubwa,’ Rufftone said.
As for Krystal, Rufftone believes that she has been bitten by the music bug and cannot avoid it. ‘She sacrificed and chose to concentrate on our marriage. Once a singer, always a singer. Once you have been bitten by [the] music bug, you cannot avoid it and it has been burning in her since then,’ he said.
