Christmas is a time for family, and for Jimmy Gait, this year's celebration is all about being with the people he loves.
Speaking to Mpasho, Gait revealed that he has been away from his family for a while, which is why he decided to spend this Christmas with them.
‘I want to spend time with my family, I have been too busy so I want to be with them,' he said.
2019 has been a challenging year for Gait, who traveled to India for treatment after being misdiagnosed in Kenya.
He had been admitted to Aga Khan Hospital for days, undergoing check-ups, and those photos were doing the rounds on social media.
Adding that it's not been an easy road for him, given music is his passion, Gait said, 'IT HAS BECOME SO DELICATE AND I NEED MORE TESTS DONE IN INDIA. THE FACT THAT I CAN’T USE MY TALENT MAKES ME FEEL SO BAD BUT I AM HOPING FOR THE BEST.'
However, Gait now says he is OK, 'I am good, I am perfect.'
