On a day meant for joy and celebration, a young girl's Christmas wish serves as a poignant reminder of the fragility of life.

Shalom Sithole, a 10-year-old girl from Zimbabwe, tragically lost her life in a car accident earlier this year, along with her parents and younger sister, Shekinah.

As the holiday season approaches, Shalom's Christmas letter, shared by her father, Godfrey Sithole, has gone viral, highlighting the importance of family and the value of cherishing time with loved ones.

'Dear mom and dad, All I want for Christmas is to spend time together as a family. Love from Shalom'

Godfrey Sithole praised his daughter for identifying the value of family at such a tender age, saying, 'Going through messages in the Christmas cards, I came through this moving request from my 8yr old then. It is when the kids understand the value of family that they write such messages. Remember when all is gone, you still have family.'

As the family navigates this difficult time, may they find peace and comfort in the memories of Shalom's precious life.
