Published on December 24, 2019, Kisumu All Stars head coach Henry Omino has confessed to fearing for his job due to the team's dismal form in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).

With the team languishing in 16th place on eight points after 14 rounds, Omino admitted that he is struggling to find explanations for the side's poor performance.

Speaking after a 3-0 loss against leaders Gor Mahia, Omino expressed his concerns, stating, "It has been a tough season for me and I don't think whether my employers are happy about it. I have been talking to the players to up their games but I don't understand why they are not putting my words into action."

Omino, who took over from Francis Oduor in June, has been trying to turn the team's fortunes around. He has identified the need to acquire an extra goalkeeper and two more players to strengthen the midfield department.

The struggling Kisumu-based outfit rose to the top-tier league this season after being promoted from the second-tier National Super League (NSL) alongside Wazito FC last season.
