Manchester United's World Cup-winning midfielder Paul Pogba is set to leave Old Trafford for Juventus, according to reports.
Despite manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisting that Pogba would not be sold in January, the Italian giants have made significant progress in their negotiations to re-sign the France international.
Manchester United paid a then-world-record £89 million to sign Pogba in 2016, but are now willing to accept £52 million plus former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can for his services, according to Italian publication Tuttosport.
"He's not getting sold in January, no," Solskjaer said in a recent interview, contradicting the latest reports.
"He's training but he's not been training with us for long. He's training and that's a step forward for us," Solskjaer added.
However, it appears that Solskjaer's words may have been premature, as Pogba has been out with an injury since United's 1-1 draw with Arsenal in October, but returned to the bench for the defeat by Watford last time out.
