Kenya's Immigration Department has temporarily suspended passport services, citing unavoidable circumstances.

The suspension, which began on December 24, 2019, at 8am, is expected to last until Friday, December 27, 2019.

According to a statement from the Department, the system will undergo unscheduled maintenance during this period.

Normal services are expected to resume on December 27, 2019.
