Esther Passaris, the Nairobi Women Representative, has made headlines with her comments on polygamy, urging women to embrace the practice and stop hesitating when the opportunity arises.

Speaking to Citizen TV's Lilian Muli, Passaris shared her personal experience of being in a polygamous relationship, stating that she has never felt ashamed of being a second wife.

According to Passaris, there's hardly any shame in sharing a husband, as the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. She pointed out that women who share husbands often experience more romantic and appetizing relationships, and that men themselves find it more appealing to service multiple women.

Passaris emphasized that women's rights, as enshrined in the Bill of Rights, give them the mandate to enjoy their rights, including the right to share a husband. She criticized women for making it hard for their fellow women to grow and develop, urging them to come together and stop petty differences that curtail their own success.

Passaris also cited statistical results from 2019, which showed that women were more pronounced than men, making it almost impossible to have one woman attached to one man. She interpreted this data as a clear indication that women have to share husbands, and that society should not stigmatize women who end up sharing other women's husbands.
