December 24, 2019 - TRACE, a leading urban and afro-urban entertainment brand, has partnered with MultiChoice to launch TRACE Gospel, a dedicated gospel channel available on DStv and GOtv in Kenya.

The new channel, which was launched in December 2019, will showcase the best of local and international gospel music, including contemporary, urban, worship, and traditional genres.

TRACE Gospel will be available on DStv Family, Compact, Compact Plus, and Premium packages, as well as GOtv Max channel 77 in Kenya. Customers will also be able to enjoy their favorite gospel content anytime, anywhere on DStv.

"We are a brand that is dedicated to showcasing the very best of Urban music from all genres from across the globe," said Danny Mucira, Managing Director of TRACE Eastern Africa.

"TRACE Gospel is a channel where we can share music, news, worship, and interviews within the gospel genre. We are looking to provide a channel that is an exploration into Gospel music and a platform for the continent's artists to share what Gospel sounds resonate most with them," said Mucira.

MultiChoice Kenya Commercial General Manager, Simon Kariithi, added that the addition of TRACE Gospel to their platforms will ensure that customers are exposed to even more entertainment options for their families, giving more value this festive season.
