Mr. Stephen Munyiri, a beloved member of the Baltimore community, left an indelible mark on the lives of his loved ones. He passed away on December 19, 2019, at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center, after a prolonged illness.
Stephen was the son of Esther Wacuka Karigu and Symon Karigu of Kenya, and brother to John Muhoro Karigu. He was married to Lucy Munyiri and father to Erica Munyiri-Nelson, Janett Munyiri, Joi Munene, and the late Kenny Munyiri.
Family and friends are coming together to celebrate Stephen's life and make funeral arrangements. A formal prayer and meeting will be held on December 23 and 27, 2019, at 7:00 PM at Elimu Center, 9600 Pulaski Park Dr, Suite 115, MD 21220.
On December 28, 2019, a gathering will take place at 6225 York Rd, Baltimore, MD 21212, Apt N218, from 6:00 PM.
A memorial service will be held on December 29, 2019, at 4:00 PM at Elimu Center, 9600 Pulaski Park Dr, suite 115, MD 21009.
Viewing will take place on January 3, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vaughn Green Funeral Home, 4905 York Rd, Baltimore, MD 21212.
Funeral and burial services will be held on January 4, 2020, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 5401 Loch Raven Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21239. Burial will follow immediately after the service.
