On December 23, 2019, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru issued a stern warning to Kenyans about the alleged corrupt and extortionist activities of musician King Kaka.

Waiguru expressed her determination to expose King Kaka's underhand dealings, which she claims have enabled him to accumulate wealth.

She described King Kaka as a 'typical thug' who uses his music to hoodwink people and gain a monetary advantage over them.

“Kenyans should not be deceived by this extortionist who is being used by NYS thieves, I will soon expose him,” Waiguru vowed.

Waiguru criticized King Kaka for tarnishing her image nationwide and vowed to expose him sooner than later.
