Edgar Obare Exposes Kenyan Comedian Seth Gor's Alleged Abuse ¶
December 23, 2019, marked another day of Edgar Obare, a Kenyan social media influencer, exposing the dark secrets of the country's entertainment industry.
Obare, known for his Instagram and YouTube presence, has been at the forefront of exposing the scandals and controversies surrounding Kenyan celebrities.
His latest exposé targets Instagram comedian Seth Gor, who has been accused of physically abusing his girlfriend, Shiko Phyna.
According to Phyna, she was subjected to a heavy beating by Gor after a heated disagreement, resulting in a broken finger and blunt force trauma to the side of her head.
She further claimed that she reported the matter to the Buru Buru police station, where Gor was arrested and later released on a Ksh. 20,000 cash bail.
Phyna shared her account of the incident on her Instagram stories but later deleted the posts.
Gor, however, denied the allegations, claiming that the rumors of the assault were not a 'big deal.'
When pressed to provide more information, Gor turned the tables, accusing Phyna of perpetrating the attack.
'My girlfriend and I are cool, we had an argument and she hit me and her nail broke,' he said.
Later, in an online post, he told the public that he didn't feel the need to explain himself since 'those who know the real story know it.'
As the news of Gor's alleged abuse spread, netizens took to social media to express their outrage and disappointment.
Many called for Gor to clear the air and provide a explanation for his actions, while others condemned his behavior as a form of toxic masculinity.
Despite the backlash, Gor seemed unbothered, celebrating his birthday at the Hemingways Nairobi hotel with close friends.
