DCI Arrests Wanted Fraud Suspect at JKIA

On Sunday night, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested a wanted fraud suspect at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) upon his arrival from the United States of America (USA).

The suspect, Jackson Njau Kinyanjui, is wanted in connection with fraud in the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal, according to the DCI.

Immigration officers at the airport stopped Kinyanjui and handed him over to the DCI detectives.

During interrogation, Kinyanjui alleged that he had been cleared to travel after securing his passport from Milimani Law Courts following a previous arrest.

The suspect remains in police custody as further investigations continue.
