Published on December 23, 2019, a report by Pocket-Lint suggested that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Buds 2 may boast increased battery life and an active noise-cancelling feature, directly competing with Apple's AirPods Pro.

According to the report, each bud may have a capacity of 300mAh, while the case may have a capacity of 600mAh, significantly improving the battery life of the previous Galaxy Buds.

Compared to the AirPods Pro, the Galaxy Buds 2 may offer a triple battery life, with the ability to play music for up to 6 hours with the charging case, whereas the AirPods Pro have a 5-hour battery life.

The Galaxy Buds 2 are also expected to come in three colors: white, black, and yellow, giving consumers more color options compared to the AirPods Pro, which are only available in white.

Additionally, the Galaxy Buds 2 are predicted to be priced lower than the AirPods Pro, with a price tag of $129, compared to the AirPods Pro's $199.

Key Features of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2

The Galaxy Buds 2 are expected to feature an adjustable equalizer, allowing users to customize their audio experience. They will also have a long-press feature, which can be configured to perform various tasks, such as playing/pausing music, answering/end a call, or cueing up the digital assistant.

However, the Galaxy Buds 2 may have some limitations, such as only allowing one feature to be assigned to each stem at a time, whereas the AirPods Pro allow users to assign multiple features to each stem.
