December 23, 2019, marked a dramatic day in the life of gospel singer Bahati, as his co-parenting issues with Yvette came to light.

According to Yvette, Bahati goes for months without seeing their daughter Mueni, which has caused tension in their co-parenting relationship.

Yvette shared her concerns with Bahati, stating, "Being a parent is not all about just paying school fees, throwing a party. Presence is everything. You go for two months without seeing Mueni."

The drama unfolded when Bahati called Yvette to ask her to bring Mueni to a party he had planned for her birthday. However, Yvette was already in Mombasa with Mueni, celebrating her fourth birthday.

Bahati became angry and ordered Yvette to bring Mueni to Nairobi as soon as possible, insisting that they use a plane and not the SGR, as that's not how he wants his children to travel.

During a meeting to settle their co-parenting issues, Yvette mentioned that she had called and texted Bahati to inform him of the trip, but since he had blocked her, he couldn't see any of the calls or messages.

Bahati explained that he blocked Yvette because she was talking to blogs about him, and he got tired of waking up to new stories about him.

However, Yvette denied the allegations, stating that she had never done such a thing and only wished her father and brothers a Happy Father's Day.

Despite their differences, both Bahati and Yvette agreed to work towards being good parents to Mueni, as they all want the best for her.
