As Christmas approaches, many of us are looking for ways to make the festive season even more special. One way to do this is by trying out some new and exciting Christmas cocktails.
Here are three delicious recipes that are perfect for the holiday season, all made with Passport Scotch Whiskey.
1. Christmas Old Fashioned ¶
This twist on the classic Old Fashioned is sure to get you in the mood for Christmas. Made with Passport Scotch Whiskey, cranberry simple syrup, bitters, and garnished with an orange wedge and cranberries, this cocktail is a must-try.
Ingredients:
- Double shot of Passport Scotch Whiskey
- 1 shot cranberry simple syrup
- 2 dashes of bitters
- Orange Wedge
- Cranberries
Simply mix together the whiskey, syrup over ice cubes, add your dashes of bitter, and garnish with an orange wedge and cranberries.
2. Cinnamon Maple Whiskey Sour ¶
This cocktail is a perfect blend of sweet and spicy, with the smell of cinnamon and the taste of maple syrup. Made with Passport Scotch Whiskey, lemon juice, maple syrup, and a pinch of ground cinnamon, this cocktail is sure to be a hit.
Ingredients:
- Double shots Passport Scotch Whiskey
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2-4 tablespoons maple syrup
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, pour in the whiskey, lemon juice, maple syrup, and cinnamon, and shake well. Strain the mixture over fresh ice in a cocktail glass.
3. Christmas Cocktail Punch ¶
For a fun and festive punch that's perfect for any holiday party, try this Christmas cocktail recipe. Made with red wine, ginger ale, cranberry juice, Passport Scotch Whiskey, frozen cranberries, orange slices, apple slices, and a stick of cinnamon, this punch is sure to be a hit.
Ingredients:
- 2 Bottles red wine
- 4 cups of ginger ale
- 3 cups cranberry juice
- 2/3 cup Passport Scotch whiskey
- 2 cups frozen cranberries
- 1 orange sliced into rounds
- 1 apple cut into thin slices
- 1 stick of cinnamon
