On December 18th, 2019, KCB Group, Kenya's largest bank by asset base, welcomed Anne Eriksson as a Non-Executive Director to its Board.
With a storied career spanning 40 years, Anne Eriksson retired from PwC in February 2018, where she served as Regional Senior Partner and CEO for Eastern Africa and Senior Country Partner Kenya.
During her tenure at PwC, the firm faced scrutiny in 2015 over a Sh879.1 million accounting fraud at Haco Tiger Brands, investigated by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
Anne Eriksson's expertise extends beyond audit services, having led provision of advisory matters to various regional and local organizations across multiple sectors.
She is an alumnus of the University of Warwick, UK, and Alliance Girls High School.
Notably, Anne Eriksson was also appointed to the Capital Markets Authority's (CMA) Ad Hoc Committee to investigate insider trading allegations against Kenol Kobil shares, alongside other esteemed members.
