Kenyan men have been advised to appreciate women who abstain from sex before marriage, with Pastor Robert Burale describing them as a rare gem.

According to Burale, women who say no to sex before marriage are wife material and men should wed them as soon as possible.

He also advised men to deny women sex if they have not paid their dowry, saying that any woman who asks for sex before marriage is not yet ready for marriage.

Burale, who was married to Rozinah Mwakideu, has been a big advocate of abstinence and has confessed to being celibate for years.

He attributed his ability to abstain from sex to his faith, saying that he hides under God because he is not an old man and does not look bad.

Burale's comments have sparked a debate among Kenyans, with some people agreeing with him and others disagreeing.
