The Syrian air defences fired on 'hostile missiles' from Israel, state media reported on Sunday, December 22, 2019.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the missiles were fired from Israeli territory and targeted the countryside of the central province of Homs.
The agency reported that the Syrian air defences intercepted the missiles, causing damage but no casualties.
The Israeli military had no immediate comment on the report.
