On December 22, 2019, Kisumu All Stars faced off against Maseno Dukes in the 2019 Kisumu County Basketball League (KCBL) finals at Maseno University. The series was tied 1-1 after the first two games.

Game One saw Maseno Dukes take an early lead, with Charles Anjejo and Allan Kibira leading the charge. However, Kisumu All Stars fought back, led by Oliver Nyawanda and Trevor Gari, to win 72-68.

Game Two was a closely contested match, with both teams trading baskets. In the end, Kisumu All Stars emerged victorious, with Trevor Gari scoring a combined game-high 44 points in the two games.

Speaking after the draw, All Stars head coach Erick Mwoki praised his team for stepping up in Game Two. "We are missing some of our key players due to personal commitments and a few injuries but I am glad we responded well especially after losing Game One. We are now confident we can work around our opponents and win the remaining matches," he said.

Maseno Dukes head coach Felix Anguko, however, remained optimistic about his team's chances. "We had a very bright start but relaxed during game two where we allowed Allstars a lot of space and they punished us. Despite that, I believe the series is still open and we can win it," he said.

The series will continue with Games Three and Four scheduled for December 28 at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground.
