December 22, 2019 - In a highly contested London derby, Chelsea secured a 2-0 win over Tottenham, with Willian scoring a first-half brace.

Chelsea's Frank Lampard claimed the bragging rights, with his side maintaining fourth spot on the Premier League table. Tottenham, on the other hand, slipped to seventh place.

Willian opened the scoring in the 12th minute, taking advantage of a short corner and drilling in a right-foot shot into the left-hand corner of Gazzaniga's goal.

Spurs struggled to create meaningful chances, with their first opportunity coming 27 minutes in, when Moussa Sissoko made a cut-back to Harry Kane, who could not keep his shot down.

Two minutes later, Son Heung-min was at the near post to meet a low cross from Kane, but the Korean could not keep his shot on target.

With just seconds to the break, Chelsea won a penalty after Gazzaniga missed a clearance and crashed into Marcos Alonso, which Willian stepped up to convert.

Chelsea had a goal disallowed in the 55th minute after Tammy Abraham pounced on a spilled shot by Gazzaniga, but the referee's assistant spotted him in an offside position.

Son Heung-min was given his marching orders for the second time this season after he kicked Antonio Rudiger in an off-the-ball incident.

Jose Mourinho's men played the rest of the game with 10 men, but could not find an opening in Chelsea's defence for the remainder of the encounter.

The match eventually ended 2-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, as Chelsea got back to winning ways.
