Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that the club is willing to work with super-agent Mino Raiola to sign teenage striker Erling Braut Haaland, who is valued at £75 million.

Haaland, 19, is currently playing for Red Bull Salzburg and is being represented by Raiola, who has also been involved in the transfer of several top players, including Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Matthijs de Ligt.

According to reports, Raiola is demanding £12 million for brokering Haaland's departure from Red Bull Salzburg in the coming months.

Manchester United are already in talks with Salzburg about signing Haaland, and Solskjaer wants the young striker to spearhead his forward line.

However, senior club sources believe that a deal for Haaland is unlikely to be struck during the January transfer window and that he is a more viable target for the summer.

In a statement, Solskjaer said: 'Players can choose their own representatives. I had probably my best friend looking after me and it is so important that every player has complete 100 per cent trust in whoever represents them.'
