On Saturday, December 21, 2019, the Sunset Golfing Society held its grand finale tournament at the par 70 Nyanza Golf Club course.
High handicapper Seth Oburu emerged the overall winner, carding 19 points in the first nine and an improved back nine's 20 for a total of 39 points.
Oburu won by three points from the Sunset men's winner, Ben Bella, who carded 19 and 17 for 36 points.
Veteran golfer Sam Onyango was second on 34 points, while David Owino finished third with a score of 31 points.
At Kakamega Sports Club, James Anzabwa won the Mulembe Golf tournament with 35 points, and Dismas Indiza of Mumias was the best professional with a score of 34 points.
Patrick Theche won the Monthly Mug at Ruiru Sports Club with a nett 69, and S. Patel took the ladies title with 73 nett.
