On a Mothers Day edition cover for True Love Magazine, Diana Marua shared a shocking revelation about her childhood - her father was extremely violent.

According to Diana, her mother was unhappy in her marriage and often cried, creating a tough home environment.

'I don't think my mom was ever happy. I remember she used to cry a lot. The home environment was tough. I remember one time he came home late and angry and started raining blows on my mom while she was breastfeeding my younger sister. I was happy for her when she left,' Diana recalled.

After her mother left, Diana's father directed his anger towards the children, making their home environment even worse.

'Looking back, I think my dad was bitter. If he had problems at work, he would come home and take out his anger on us,' Diana said.

At just six years old, Diana's experiences took a toll on her, affecting her school performance and making it difficult to do her homework due to her many responsibilities at home.
