Published on December 21, 2019, Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has spoken candidly about her polygamous marriage, expressing pride and happiness in her unconventional relationship.
Passaris, 55, revealed that she never initially planned to be in a polygamous setup but found herself in one and has since accepted it. She attributed her growth and self-discovery to the experience, saying, "Somebody once said to me that your life is like a book, and every chapter is who you are. So you have to own it. I can't be embarrassed or ashamed of who I am and what I have experienced."

Despite the challenges that come with a polygamous marriage, she emphasized the importance of love and friendship in her relationship, stating, "My husband and I have had our troubles but we are good friends, we love each other and that's what is important."
Passaris' openness about her personal life serves as a testament to her courage and willingness to share her experiences with the public.
