Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has spoken about his future in an interview, stating that he is 'ready to return' to coaching.

After being sacked by Spurs last month, Pochettino has been spending time with his family in Argentina, but he is now preparing for his next challenge.

Speaking in Qatar ahead of the Club World Cup final, Pochettino said: 'After five and a half years in Tottenham, it is a weird time for us, but at the same time, very relaxed, very happy when you look backwards, and of course, obviously in life, you need to move on.'

He also expressed his love for the Premier League and the English fans, stating that it is 'one of the best leagues in the world' and that he is 'open to listen' to any potential offers.

Although he did not rule out a return to Tottenham, Pochettino noted that he would not rule out talking to any club, including Arsenal, and that he would have listened to the Gunners if they had approached him.

His exit from Spurs has not diminished his affection for the club, and he did not rule out the possibility of one day returning, citing the example of Zinedine Zidane's return to Real Madrid.
