As of December 2019, Huawei's EMUI 10 software has been a game-changer for users of Huawei and Honor devices. The software combines the best of Huawei's features with the latest Android 10 updates.
Since Huawei kickstarted the Android 10 beta programme for its 2019 flagship smartphones in September, the company has been on a rapid-fire release schedule. This has led to a significant number of devices making the jump to EMUI 10 and Android 10.
According to Huawei Central, at least 1 million devices had already made the jump to EMUI 10 and Android 10 by November 2019. However, the number has continued to grow, with a record 9 million Huawei and Honor devices receiving their EMUI 10 upgrade – either stable or beta releases – in just 4 weeks.
As of December 2019, the total count has reached 10 million devices. This surge in numbers can be attributed to Huawei's focus on bringing EMUI 10 to its popular budget devices in recent weeks.
