On November 9th, retired President Daniel Arap Moi was re-admitted to Nairobi Hospital, marking his third visit to the facility in the past three months.

According to his son, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, the 95-year-old has been receiving special care at the hospital's VIP wing, a homely setup, and is under the care of a team of doctors led by his personal physician Dr. David Silverstein.

Speaking at Kabarak University's 15th graduation ceremony on Friday, Gideon Moi expressed gratitude to Kenyans for their prayers and urged them to continue praying for his father's health.

“I wish to thank each one of you, on behalf of my family, for your prayers. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for praying and thinking of Mzee Moi at this time as you all know he is not in the best of his health,” said Moi.

President Kenyatta visited Moi at the hospital on November 15th, where they reportedly had a lengthy talk.
