Published on December 20, 2019, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has spoken out on the health status of his father, retired President Daniel Arap Moi.
According to Gideon, Moi's health has been improving since he was re-admitted to Nairobi Hospital on November 9th. However, he admitted that Moi's health is not at its best and urged Kenyans to continue praying for him.
"I wish to thank each one of you, on behalf of my family, for your prayers. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for praying and thinking of Mzee Moi at this time as you all know he is not in the best of his health," said Moi.
"With prayers and thoughts, he has been improving day by day," he added.
President Kenyatta visited Moi at the hospital on November 15th, where they reportedly had a lengthy talk.
