Jose Mourinho is set to face his former club Chelsea for the first time since taking charge of Tottenham Hotspur in November 2019.

Despite once claiming he could never manage Tottenham due to his successful spells with Chelsea, Mourinho has insisted that his loyalty remains with Spurs.

"For me, it's a game. I am 100 per cent Tottenham, 100 per cent my club always, all my career," Mourinho told reporters on Friday.

He added, "No space at all for my previous clubs. I gave everything to all of them. Everything. I kept nothing."

Mourinho will come up against a familiar face in the opposition dugout in the shape of Frank Lampard, one of the key players during his two reigns at Chelsea.

Despite the emotional clash, Mourinho has revealed that he will not be inviting Lampard for a post-match drink, citing the private nature of Tottenham's stadium.

However, he has promised a big hug for Lampard before and after the game, regardless of the result.
