Apple has released iOS 13.3, its eighth update since the release of iOS 13, with a range of new features and improvements.
According to Apple, the update is available for iPhone SE, 6S, or later, but iPhone 5, 6, and iPads have been cut off from the upgrade, with iPads sticking to their dedicated iOS iPadOS.
The update includes several new features, including the ability to create new video clips when trimming a video in Photos, as well as support for NFC, USB, and Lightning FIDO2-compliant security keys in Safari.
Other fixes include addressing issues with mail that may prevent downloading new messages, resolving problems with deleting emails from Gmail accounts, and improving the performance of voice memo recordings.
Additionally, the update includes new parental controls for screentime, which provide more communication limits over who children can call, FaceTime, and message.
Users also have access to Apple News, which features several news stories from the Wall Street Journal and other leading newspapers, and can like or dislike articles with a tap.
However, some users have reported issues with the update, including mobile data hitches and battery problems.
As noted by Gordon Kelly in a review for Forbes, several users have reported issues with the update, including mobile data hitches and battery problems.
