December 20, 2019, marked the beginning of a tumultuous period in the lives of gospel star Bahati and his baby mama Yvette Obura. The drama unfolded on Bahati's reality TV show, where he accused Yvette of being the reason he blocked her calls.
According to Bahati, he blocked Yvette to prevent her from leaking information about their daughter's life. However, Yvette defended herself, stating that her Instagram posts were not meant to leak information but rather to express her thoughts and feelings as a mother.
Yvette's brother-in-law, Kioko, attempted to mediate the situation, asking Bahati, 'How can you block your baby mama?' Bahati responded by saying, 'You do not know why I blocked you? Then there is no reason to have this meeting.' He also claimed that Yvette used to give out too much information to blogs, which made him block her.
Yvette, however, maintained that she only spoke her truth and that her posts had nothing to do with leaking information. She told Kioko and Bahati, 'There are things I see and I am not happy so out of anger I wake up and write those things. All I want is the best for my daughter.'
