Kenyan-Canadian lawyer Miguna Miguna has made a surprise announcement that he will return to Kenya on January 7, 2020, earlier than initially planned.
According to Miguna, he will be landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 9:25 pm via Lufthansa flight LH 590, contrary to his earlier statement that he would arrive on Saturday, January 7, 2020.
On December 20, 2019, Miguna had tweeted that he would be returning to Kenya on January 7, 2020, citing 'Homecoming. Birthright, Constitutional rights, and court orders. Change by popular demand.'
This will be Miguna's third attempt to return to Kenya, following his deportation in 2018 after presiding over the swearing-in ceremony of Raila Odinga as the people's president.
