On Friday, December 20, 2019, Nairobi residents can expect heavy traffic as three major universities hold their graduation ceremonies.

The University of Nairobi, Technical University of Kenya, Kenyatta University, and Daystar University have scheduled their graduation ceremonies, affecting traffic around the city.

Motorists using University Way from Nairobi CBD to Waiyaki Way were stuck in heavy traffic as the University of Nairobi held its ceremony at the Chiromo campus.

Several roads were affected, including Jogoo Road, where some motorists were delayed for up to 30 minutes.

Motorists trying to access the city via Waiyaki Way from Westlands were also delayed due to the massive traffic caused by the University of Nairobi's graduation ceremony.
