New Hope for Kenya's Youth: Talent-Based Learning Scholarships ¶
Kenya's youth who failed national exams can now pursue higher education through talent-based learning scholarships, offering a new lease of hope for those from poor backgrounds.
According to the African Federation for Gifted and Talented, most of the talent witnessed in Africa gets washed down the drain due to lack of financial support. However, the federation, through GATES Africa Group, will provide funding to deserving applicants in September of each year.
Applications for the year 2019 have been extended to Tuesday, December 31. To be considered, applicants must submit testimonials indicating evidence of their unique talent, why they deserve and need the funding, and efforts they have made on their own before seeking funding.
Notes: The federation funds unique talent and not the usual academic scholarships for the sake of completing academic courses.
For more information, interested individuals can contact the federation through the following phone numbers: +254 788 193 427, +254 789 134 445, or +254 731 202 847. They can also email [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected].
