Njugush's Rags-to-Riches Story Takes Shape ¶
Comedian Timothy Kimani, alias Njugush, has been open about his broke past with his wife, Celestine Ndinda. However, their rags-to-riches story appears to be shaping up nicely, with the couple on their way to becoming homeowners in Kenya.
As of December 2019, their two-storey mansion, which has been under construction for months, is nearly complete. The couple's wife, Celestine Ndinda, shared a photo of the house on Instagram, hinting at the couple's good fortune.
The couple's journey to homeownership began nine months prior, when Njugush posted a picture of the house in its structural framing stage. The couple must be expecting a housewarming early 2020, three years after they got married.
On Monday, December 16, 2019, Njugush and Celestine celebrated their third year wedding anniversary in a hilarious fashion. The couple met at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication in 2012 and were college sweethearts.
While in college and some years after, they were typically broke, with Njugush living in a bedsitter without a bed. In a social media post in 2017, Njugush shared a story about how his wife, Celestine, laughed at their situation and said, 'babe usiskie vibaya, hii nyumba siku moja tutajaza' (we'll fill this house one day).
