Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has sparked debate after expressing interest in joining politics.
During an interview on JKL Live, Khaligraph revealed that his dream of becoming a politician has been a recurring thought.
When asked by Jeff Koinange about his future plans, Khaligraph stated, "It will depend on time and circumstances, if I return to Kayole and people accept me, then I will have no choice,"
His comments come as a surprise to many, especially given the recent controversy surrounding musician King Kaka, who has been at the center of a debate over his song 'Wajinga Nyinyi' on YouTube.
King Kaka has been asked to remove the song, but Khaligraph has offered to provide him with protection for two weeks.
It is worth noting that Khaligraph's comments have been met with skepticism by some of his peers, including Bien Baraza and Eric Wainaina, who have expressed concerns about the potential for politics to be used as a means of deceiving the public.
