Spanish midfielder Antonio Zarzana has emerged as a top target for Arsenal, with the 17-year-old already on Mikel Arteta's wishlist as the Gunners' new manager prepares to take charge.
Arteta, who is set to replace Unai Emery at the Emirates, has reportedly prioritized the signing of Zarzana, but will face competition from several other European clubs, including Liverpool and Bayern Munich, who have also been monitoring the teenager's progress.
According to reports, Arsenal have already made enquiries about Zarzana's availability, and should the club decide to make a move for the youngster, he could become Arteta's first signing as manager at the Emirates.
Zarzana, who currently plays for Sevilla's B team, has been touted as one of the hottest prospects to emerge from Sevilla academy, and has already attracted interest from top European clubs, including Real Madrid, who unsuccessfully tried to lure him to Bernabeu last year.
