On December 19, 2019, Joash Marube was sentenced to 30 years in jail for the cold-blooded murder of his pregnant wife and four-year-old daughter.
The gruesome murders took place four years ago in Keroka, a town in Kenya.
Marube's nephew, Brian Rioba, testified against him, revealing the horrific details of the crime.
According to Rioba, Marube slapped his wife before hitting her with an object, while another man hit her with a wooden plank.
Investigative Officer Joseph Chepkonga presented key evidence, including the wooden plank, a piece of metal, rope believed to have been used to strangle the victim, a knife, a pair of shoes, a padlock, and a jacket owned by Marube.
After a four-year-long trial, Judge Esther Maina delivered her ruling, bringing an end to the case.
