Harambee Stars claimed the Cecafa bronze medal after beating Tanzania 2-1 in the third place play-off at the Lugogo Stadium on December 19, 2019.
Kenyan midfielder Kenneth Muguna opened the scoring, and Abdallah Hassan added a second goal to give Harambee Stars a 2-0 lead at halftime.
This was the second time Kenya beat Tanzania in the tournament, following their 1-0 win in the opening match of their campaign in group B.
