On December 19, 2019, Bishop Maina Ng'ang'a, the founder of Neno Evangelism Centre, publicly criticized Kenyan rapper King Kaka over his highly acclaimed spoken word track Wajinga Nyinyi.

The bishop took issue with the artist for including him in the song, which claimed he was a swindler who was deceiving the masses.

During a sermon, the bishop hurled insults at the musician, calling him an idiot and a demon.

"You are an idiot. Try finding someone who is at your level. Seek out people who commute using matatus and touts, that is your level. Do you know who you are talking to, this is a commander! It’s like comparing the sun and the moon," he stated.

"What sort of demon are you?" he added.

King Kaka has since acknowledged receiving the message from the bishop and chose not to escalate the issue further.

This is the second time the vocal preacher has come out to diss a musician, having had a tiff with international Snoop Dogg in September 2019.
