On December 17th, 2019, Otile Brown's latest video release, 'Nakuelewa', was pulled down from YouTube just a week after its release.

The decision came after Nabayet's parents expressed their discontent with their daughter's appearance in the video, claiming they had catered for her education and did not want her to be associated with the entertainment industry.

Otile Brown attempted to explain that Nabayet was featured in the video as a celebrity, not a video vixen, but the parents were not convinced.

As a result, Otile Brown was left with no choice but to abide by the parents' wishes and remove the video from YouTube.

However, this move has not gone down well with fans, who have expressed disappointment and frustration with the decision.

Otile Brown has since announced that he will either replace the video or release the song's audio instead, in a bid to appease his fans and Nabayet's parents.

He made the announcement through an Instagram status update, publicly apologizing and explaining the circumstances surrounding the video's removal.

'The parents were not happy with some scenes. You know I cannot pull down the video if it is not serious. I had to respect them, I did it for my love [Nabbi] you know,' Otile Brown said in his apology post.
