Deputy President William Ruto is beaming with pride as his daughter, Stephanie Jepchumba, takes a significant step in her legal career by being admitted to the prestigious Kenya School of Law.

According to the school's website, Stephanie is among the students admitted to undertake the Advocates Training Program in the 2020/21 academic year.

Stephanie's admission to the Kenya School of Law marks a major milestone in her journey to becoming a lawyer. She graduated with a degree in law from Strathmore University on June 28, 2019.

Her proud father, Deputy President Ruto, was among the thousands of parents who graced the colourful graduation ceremony at Strathmore University.

At the time, Deputy President Ruto praised Stephanie for her dedication, hard work, and self-sacrifice, which had led to her triumph.

“Congratulations to Stephanie Ruto on your graduation from Strathmore University with a degree in Law. Your dedication, hard work, self-sacrifice, and God’s grace has triumphed.

As you join your peers in the legal profession, may you stand with the tenets of justice, fidelity, and impartiality,” the deputy president wrote in a heartfelt message to her.

It's worth noting that all lawyers in Kenya must earn a diploma from the Kenya School of Law, the country's only Bar School since its founding in 1963, before being admitted to The Bar as advocates of the High Court.
