Published on December 19, 2019, Sarah Wairimu Cohen, the main suspect in the murder of her husband Tob Cohen, is seeking Ksh. 500 million from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for the alleged illegal seizure and detention of her property.
According to court documents, Wairimu claims the amount will cater for the damage and potential loss of her Kitisuru home, which was cordoned off by detectives after they found Cohen's body inside a septic tank within the compound.
Wairimu is accusing the DCI of 'illegal seizure and detention of her property' and wants DCI George Kinoti to appear in court in person to account for the seized property.
On Wednesday, Judge Lydia Achode set January 15, 2020, as the hearing date to hear both parties.
