Marion Effie Naekena, a 15-year-old student from Kipsigis Girls High School, made headlines after scoring an A grade in the KCSE 2019 results.
Naekena, who sat for the national examinations in Kericho county, achieved 81 points in the underage category, a feat that has left many in awe.
Her father, Mr. Lemali Sauroki, who resides in Kabarnet, expressed pride and admiration for Naekena's achievement, stating that he never doubted her capability despite critics questioning her ability to handle the national exams.
Naekena intends to pursue Electrical Engineering at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), a dream she says she will achieve through hard work and dedication.
