Cristiano Ronaldo's Stunning Header Seals Juventus' 2-1 Win Over Sampdoria ¶
On Wednesday, November 19, Cristiano Ronaldo defied gravity with a stunning leaping goal for Juventus, securing a vital 2-1 win over Sampdoria.
At 34, Ronaldo proved age is just a number as he rose into the air, hanging for seconds before blasting in a match-winning header into the net in the 45th minute.
With the game looking destined for stalemate, Ronaldo's amazing killer instinct took over, handing Juve another early lead with an 8ft 5in header.
The former Real Madrid star rose 2.56 meters off the ground and made Sampdoria's keeper look helpless with his stunner, sending the whole stadium into a wild frenzy.
Interestingly, Ronaldo has now scored six goals in his last five games since getting a breakthrough from his formidable partnership with Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.
With the win, Juventus leapfrogged rivals Inter Milan to reclaim their spot at the top of the Serie A on 42 points.
